Javier G.P. Gamarra

Dr. Javier G.P. Gamarra has been an International Consultant on Forestry Statistics in the Forestry Division at FAO since 2014, specializing in forest statistics and particularly uncertainty measures. Previously he worked in research and teaching as an ecological and epidemiological modeller in different universities in Spain, US, Canada and Wales. He has a Ph.D. in Forest Science and Theoretical Ecology, and his background includes Population and Community Ecology, Complex Systems and Mathematical Epidemiology.
