In light of recent challenges to scientific freedom, Science-i and GIP Ecofor are reaffirming their commitment to forest research with the I Support Forest Science initiative. As part of the International Day of Forests 2025, we’re inviting scientists to share why they support forest science.

How to participate?

  1. Send us a short 10-second video starting with: “I support forest science because…” followed by your reason.
  2. Upload your video to a file-sharing service of your choice (WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.).
  3. Send an email to communication@gip-ecofor.org including: the link to download your video, full name, affiliation (university, research institute, company, etc.)

Your message will be part of a playlist on YouTube and featured on the websites and social media of Science-i and GIP Ecofor to highlight the importance of forest research and scientific freedom.

By sending your video, you consent to its publication along with your name and affiliation. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
