Akane Abbasi is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources at Purdue University. Her research utilizes large-scale forest inventory data and satellite-based environmental data, processed by state-of-the-art AI techniques, to understand the current state and dynamics of North American and East Asian forests under global change.
